For twenty years I was breakinghip-hop style of street dance. You improvise live, in front of people, with no second takes, and you learn to cut everything down to the one move that lands.
You never get the round you trained for. You adjust.
A brief is the same problem. Too many good ideas fighting for the same small space, and my job is choosing what to cut.
